This presentation will provide an overview of the specific challenges present during puberty and adolescence, specifically sexuality and hygiene. Strategies for increasing independence in grooming, hygiene, health and dressing will be reviewed. Additionally, issues and strategies surrounding sexuality, modesty, privacy, boundaries and personal safety will be discussed.
